Bukhara Territorial Electricity Company JSC, located in Bukhara, is a distribution and supply company in the electricity market. It purchases electricity from Regional Electric Networks JSC and distributes and sells it to end consumers. The company was created according to the order of the Bukhara Regional State Committee for the Management of State Property and Support for Entrepreneurship No. 86 dated July 23, 2003, which transformed the subsidiary "Bukhara Electric Networks" into a Joint Stock Company. The state's share in the company's charter capital is 51%, foreign investors hold a 45% share, and the workforce holds a 4% share.
