Bank of Palestine (BoP) was incorporated in 1960. It is one of the largest Palestinian banks. It is active in personal banking, including accounts, cards and loans, and corporate banking, which deals with trading loans and revolving loans, SME financing, syndicated loans and international trade services. In addition, the bank provides electronic banking services. The bank listed on the Palestinian Stock Exchange in 2005. In 2007 the bank launched Al Wasata Securities Co. to act as the bank’s investment arm. In September 2016 Bank of Palestine merged with the Commercial Bank of Palestine, thus increasing both its customer base and assets.
