Al Omaniya Financial Services is an Omani non-banking financial company, set up in 1997 by a group of corporations led by Bank Muskat. The purpose of the new entity was to deal with retail asset financing. It is considered among the largest non-banking institutions in the Sultanate. Al Omaniya deals in car finance and consumer loans, such as loans for personal belongings and home appliances and furniture. Its corporate financing division deals in asset and working capital finance, equipment and machinery financing, debt factoring and bridge finance. Al Omaniya has two branches in Sohar and Nizwa.
