Its predcessor - Stumbras AB is the oldest operating local alcohol production company, launched production line in 1906, when liqueur and vodka Production Company was established in Kaunas. MG Baltic concern-controlled company Mineraliniai Vandenys Ltd. and State Property Fund signed sales and purchase contract regarding the largest Lithuanian producer of alcoholic drinks Stumbras AB and on October 27, 2003 Mineraliniai Vandenys Ltd. took over the management of Stumbras distillery. Stumbras AB is one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of strong alcoholic beverages in the Baltic States. Company's total production averages 15 million litters per year.
