General Motors Ecuador was founded in 1926 when it received its first Chevrolet vehicle. In 1975 it was turned in the company Omnibus BB S.A (OBB) that initiated assembly of the first buses. GM Ecuador is the subsidiary of the U.S. multinational corporation under the same name, which assembles and distributes motor vehicles of the Chevrolet brand such as cars, SUVs, vans and vehicles for the commercial segments.
