Romania’s construction market grows 35.4% y/y in Q3 2019
Romania’s construction works grew in volume by 35.4% on an annual basis for the third quarter of 2019, bne Intellinews reported referring to data provided by the country’s statistics office INS. In comparison, the sector’s growth for the second quarter of 2019 was 30.8% year-on-year and in the first quarter it stood at 11.7%.
Between January and September 2019, the construction sector’s activity jumped by 27.9% on an annual basis. Over the nine-month period, the construction of non-residential buildings boasted the strongest growth rate, or 38.3% on the year.
