Czech Republic’s vehicle production drops 4.1% y/y Sept 2019

Czech Republic’s vehicle production fell by 4.1% on an annual basis for September 2019, CEEMarketWatch reported referring to data provided by car producers' association AutoSAP. For the whole period between January-September, production rose by 0.7% on the year.

The slight output growth for the first nine months of 2019 was supported primarily by passenger cars. However, the passenger car output is expected to start declining in year-to-date terms by the end of the year.

In September alone, exports declined by 3.9% on the year in terms of volume. Yet, they rose by 1% for the nine-month period, CEEMarketWatch added.
